Ok - stop searching for your photographer and just book Katie! I booked her for my engagement photos/wedding and from day 1, she made me feel so comfortable and so excited! We met in person for coffee to go over details and we ended up just chatting about anything and everything, it was like I was sitting across from a long time friend. She understands the ins and outs of her profession and not only will take amazing photos, but she'll make sure all 'behind the scenes' items are taken care of and running smoothly as well. This is so important to have another person on your team who knows what they are doing. My engagement photos came out so beautiful, and we had so much fun during the shoot. It was probably 100 degrees outside but we made it work! There was never an awkward moment and she somehow made us look good even though I thought I was going to be dripping sweat in all the pictures. My fiance doesn't love getting his picture taken and even he said he enjoyed the experience. He met Katie for the first time during the engagement shoot and right when it was over he said "she was great, that was actually fun". She posted a sneak peek of our session almost immediately (I believe that night) and we had the rest of our photos within a couple weeks! My friends couldn't believe how quick the turnaround was. She truly is an amazing photographer and an even better friend. Best money I spent during the wedding planning process!
